With paws for quills and ink for fur, I’ll write a will, so listen, sir. To all who read, I bid adieu, My time has come, it’s sad but true.
To the lonely cat, without a home, Who roams the streets, all alone, I leave my house, my bowl, my bed, And all the cozy things that once I’ve said.
Do not think, my dear human, That I’ll never find another kin, For love is not a finite thing, It’s boundless, like the joy it brings.
So find another, to fill my place, A cat who knows no joy or grace, Who needs a home, and love, and care, And will find all these things waiting there.
And though it pains me to say goodbye, I know that in your heart you’ll try, To honor my wishes, and make them true, To the lonely cat, who needs you too.
So do not grieve, my dear human, For I’ll always be with you, in spirit and kin, And though my time with you is done, My love will live on, forever and one.
